About the project
The same heavy machinery. A site as fast as it is clear.
The challenge
A site that wasn’t up to the job
GMS is Mecalac’s distributor in Sweden, with its own workshop in Höganäs and service partners across the country. The old site didn’t reflect that, and many of its links and PDFs no longer worked.
The solution
A page per machine, and a map
A dedicated page for every machine family with spec sheets, used machines via the company’s Blocket shop, and a service map that shows customers their nearest workshop. Every broken link and PDF has been fixed.

Performance went from 79 to 100. The site now scores 100 out of 100 in all four categories, on both mobile and desktop.

The customer enters their postcode. A wave sweeps across the map and reveals the nearest workshop, with the distance, a number to call and directions.
